which outlines priorities
for research that will enhance
conservation of wildlife in Tanzania. All interested scientists are encouraged
and advised to develop their research projects within the lines of the agenda.
The research agenda was drawn up in collaboration with the Institute for
Terrestrial Ecology, U.K., with funding from the Darwin Initiative.
In order to implement the research agenda, TAWIRI needs and requires financial
support from donor agencies as well as collaboration with other institutions
in the carrying out of research.
